Affiliate Program Terms
Version 1.0 · Last updated: August 1, 2026
These Affiliate Program Terms (the "Program Terms") govern participation in the Vettted affiliate/referral program (the "Program") and are incorporated into the Terms of Service. Enrollment is subject to approval; the Program is free to join — there is no paid affiliate tier.
1. Enrollment & Tracking
Approved affiliates receive tracked links. Commissions, rates, attribution windows, and payment schedules are as published in your Program dashboard or enrollment communication (the "Commission Schedule"), which we may update prospectively with notice. Attribution requires functioning tracking; self-referrals, cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, and toolbar/injection traffic are prohibited and void attribution.
2. FTC Compliance (Mandatory)
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your material connection to Vettted before or immediately adjacent to each affiliate link or endorsement, in plain language (for example: "I may earn a commission if you sign up through my link"), on every channel including social media and video, consistent with 16 CFR Part 255. Buried, below-the-fold, or link-only ("#ad in a sea of tags") disclosures are not sufficient.
3. Prohibited Conduct
No earnings claims or income representations of any kind; no guarantees of business results; no fabricated reviews or testimonials; no spam (you must comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and equivalent laws — no cold email or messaging on our behalf without our prior written approval); no bidding on our trademarks or confusingly similar terms in paid search; no representing yourself as Vettted or as our employee or agent; no promotion adjacent to unlawful, deceptive, or brand-unsafe content; no incentivized signups without our written approval.
4. License & Brand Use
We grant a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use approved Vettted marks and creatives solely to promote the Service per our brand guidelines. All goodwill inures to us. We may require changes to or removal of any content using our marks.
5. Payment, Clawback, Audit
Commissions accrue only on qualified, non-fraudulent, non-refunded conversions and are payable per the Commission Schedule once any minimum threshold is met. We may withhold, reverse, or claw back commissions arising from fraud, policy violations, refunds, or tracking errors, and may audit traffic quality. Taxes on your commissions are your responsibility; you are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent, or partner.
6. Term & Termination
Either party may terminate participation at any time. We may terminate immediately for violation of Sections 2–3, with forfeiture of unpaid commissions arising from the violating activity. Sections 2–5 and the Terms of Service's dispute-resolution provisions survive.
